Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Open this folder on your phone/computer
The folder has 10 files. Open the index page (00-index.md) to see them all.
Step 2: Print the questions you need
Before each vendor call or meeting, print the relevant file:
- For Sexitive AR gerente: sexitive-ar-questions.md
- For despachante: despachante-questions.md
- For contador: contador-questions.md
- For imprenta: imprentas-questions.md
- For courier: courier-questions.md
Step 3: Send outreach (use templates in outreach-emails.md)
Copy-paste the template into WhatsApp or email. Don't customize much β the templates are ready.
Step 4: During the call/meeting
Take notes in the printed file. Fill in the answers as you go.
Step 5: After all vendors respond
Open vendor-scoring.md and fill in the scores. Use the same scoring for each category (despachante, contador, imprenta, courier).
Step 6: Make decision
Pick the highest scorer. If close scores, use judgment (gut feel, references, chemistry).
Step 7: Sign engagement letter
For despachante and contador (imprenta and courier usually don't need formal engagement). Use the template in vendor-conversation-questions.md for key clauses.
Step 8: Send all answers to Erebus
Erebus updates the pricing model, budget, and cash flow projections based on actual numbers.
What NOT to do
- β Don't send all 7 templates at once (overwhelming)
- β Don't accept the first quote without comparison
- β Don't sign without reading engagement letter
- β Don't pay 100% upfront
- β Don't hire a vendor without checking references
- β Don't promise exclusivity to any vendor in first year
What TO do
- β Send outreach Monday morning
- β Follow up Thursday if no response
- β Ask ALL the questions (vendors expect this from serious businesses)
- β Take notes during calls (you'll forget otherwise)
- β Compare 3+ candidates per category
- β Choose based on score + gut feel
- β Send answers to Erebus for model updates
If something goes wrong
| Problem | Action |
|---|---|
| Vendor doesn't respond in 3 days | Phone call instead of email/WhatsApp |
| Vendor gives vague answers | Red flag β try next candidate |
| All candidates score poorly | Search more (Google, LinkedIn, referrals) |
| Vendor asks for 100% upfront | Reject β try next |
| Sarah gets decision paralysis | Pick the highest-scoring vendor and move on |
After the launch (Month 1+)
- Re-evaluate vendors monthly (per
daily-checklist.md) - Look for new vendors as business grows
- Fire vendors who don't deliver (per
vendor-red-flags.md)
Help is available
If you're stuck or overwhelmed: 1. Call Ivan (the founder, your mentor) 2. Message Kiki (sales lead, your primary contact) 3. Send questions to Erebus via GitHub issues
Don't make decisions alone. Use the network.
